RD Sharma was born in a farming family in Bhupakhera village in Alwar, Rajasthan.He completed his Masters degree and PhD in Mathematics from University of Rajasthan. Ravi Dutt Sharma , R. D. Sharma, popularly known as, is a mathematics textbook author in India. He is a double gold medalist in both Bachelor of Science and Master’s degrees from the University of Rajasthan, Jaipur.
